Sales Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join our thriving client based on the outskirts of Newark on a full-time basis.

The right candidate will possess excellent people management skills, coupled with a good understanding of technical engineering environments preferably within an agricultural or mechanical setting.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
 Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
 Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural machinery and industrial machines.
 Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize sales.
 Utilize engineering knowledge to effectively communicate the technical aspects of our products to customers.
 Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with the engineering teams in the Group to address client needs.
 Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support.
 Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
 Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear goals for the team.
 Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
 Analyse market conditions to identify new opportunities and challenges.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors.
 Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
 Be prepared for regular travel within the UK and internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.

Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential.
B2B sales: 3 years (preferred)
Mechanical engineering: 3 years (preferred)
Team management: 3 years (preferred)

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
