Quality Auditor

My Client, an reputable manufacturer based in North Hykeham, Lincoln are looking for a Quality Auditor to joint their expanding team, this successful company, with a renounced reputation for delivering excellent service, are growing their business to meet their customers demands

Specific responsibility for:

• Supplier Chain Audits
• Internal Process Audits
• Product Process Audits
• Nadcap Audits
• Compile and record Audit Report
• Adherence to Audit schedule
• Non-conformance management (resultant of audit)

Key Skills and Competencies
General Experience
• Proven qualification and experience of AS 9100 Audits, awareness of Nadcap, Ability to work well unsupervised and as part of a team, Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines, Ability to read and understand drawings/geometric tolerances, measuring instrumentation skills and understanding procedures/ specifications,

Planning and Organising Skills
• High-quality planning and organisational skills
• Shows strong customer service skills in managing difficult situations with both internal and external customer issues
Communication Skills
• Exceptional communicator and listener who effectively conveys accurate, up to date and meaningful information both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities and Accountabilities, (in relation to ‘Performance Management’ activities)
• Awareness of all Health and Safety regulations/recommendations and all Company Health and Safety regulations/recommendations applicable within the area. Ensure regulations and recommendations are adhered to. Ensure a safe working environment is maintained always and immediate action is taken if a Health and Safety issue occurs
• Working within the framework of relevant Company and Departmental procedures
• Maintaining an organised work-area to minimise impact of process and area targeted by audit
• Liaising with all members of the Performance, Process and Quality teams to ensure awareness of audit
• Communicating effectively with Team Members to ensure that information is transmitted clearly
• Identifying and communicating ‘self-development’ requirements to Line Management
• Carrying out additional ‘reasonable tasks’ as required
