My client is a leading provider of agency professional and consultancy service across the whole range of rural, commercial and residential property, agriculture and the environment.
Due to expansion we require qualified Chartered Planners with varying years of experience to join our Architectural planning department. The role would suit a planner who is looking for career progression and keen to grow the business by setting up a planning department.
Your responsibilities will be to undertake site appraisals evaluate the prospects of gaining planning permission, produce EIA screening reports for projects, submit planning applications and provide supporting planning statements, discharge of planning conditions. You will undertake public consultation/community involvement projects in conjuctionwith planning proposals.Making submissions to Councils through the local plan process. Attend examinations in public related to local plans as necessary. Undertake planning appeals and act as an expert witness at hearings & inquiries and prepare fee proposals for will update colleagues on planning changes and legislation and policies. Promote the business in the market place.
You must have Master degree in planing or member the royal town planning institute (RTPI).Knowledge of planning legislation and planning system. IT literate be familiar with the and experience of the planning portal.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
This is a full time permanent position salary depending on experience
