Landscaping Team Leader

My client is one of the UK’s leading commercial contractors and holds a fantastic reputation within their industry; continuously producing high levels of customer satisfaction and offering bespoke services. My client is forward thinking and offer their professional expertise.

I am looking for a passionate, dependable, and diligent individual with an interest in landscaping who has the ability to confidently run a team efficiently. You must be able to withhold pragmatic working relationships with both your team and customers and be progressive in your thinking to strive for exceptional quality.

You will be working beneath directors to oversee the productivity of your team and ensure high standards of work are met. You will need to have strong systematic thinking and be flexible to work successfully under pressure.

The role is based across several sites so you must be willing to get your hands stuck in alongside the operatives such as planting and maintenance. You will strictly adhere to health and safety standards and ensure others follow. You will be responsible for managing your team day-to-day including attendance, assessing capability, and reviewing performance.

• This is a fantastic role that offers opportunities to progress for the right candidate whereby training is specifically personalised to the individual.
• A horticultural background is desirable, but my client is open to candidates with a landscaping or construction background as my client works primarily with civil contractors.
• The candidate must have a driving licence and access to their own vehicle due to the location. You must also have the ability to read site plans/drawings and have excellent time management.

• This is a permanent, full-time position – Monday – Friday, possibility of ad hoc Saturday – £12/£12.50 per hour.
