Employment Law Legal Secretary

Due to ongoing expansion, Our client is looking to recruit a Full-time Legal Secretary for our Commercial Property/Employment Department in Nottingham.

It is essential that the successful candidate will have experience of working in a Commercial Property/Employment department and have the experience and desire to assist the department.

The ideal candidate for this role must have the following:
• Up to 2 years’ experience of working in a Commercial Property/Employment Department
• A strong desire to learn
• Enthusiastic, ambitious and ability to work as part of a team
• Hardworking
• Organised
• Adaptable and accommodating
• Good telephone manner and client care skills
• A smart and tidy appearance
• Excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail
• IT competent
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance

The successful Legal Secretary will undertake duties including but not limited to:
• Taking telephone enquiries and setting up new client files
• Assisting solicitors in the Commercial Property and Employment team
• Creating bundles
• Typing correspondence
• Diary Management
• Audio typing & word processing through Digital Dictation
• Administrative duties including inputting information and collecting marketing data
• Filing
• Photocopying
• Assisting other members of the department as required
• Presentation of correspondence and documents
• Liaising with Clients and other parties
• Preparing SDLT forms
• Dealing with the Land Registry registration process

Working hours. Monday – Friday 8.30am – 17.00pm
