We are recruiting a Club Steward to join a well respected, friendly and local Golf Club in the Grantham area.
The company is looking for a new individual who will be living in accommodation directly at the Club.
You will be managing the catering and cookery function for up to 80 covers for golfing dinners, wedding receptions and wakes or other functions. This particular area is something the Club is looking to build on, so we are looking for someone who is going to be able to drive the Club forward, business develop and market the Club in order for it to become an attractive, successful function venue in the area.
The Club Steward will be responsible for providing a no-frills catering service for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, the Club do not provide a "fine dining" atmosphere but like to do home cooked, hearty meals, well.
Will also be responsible for booking staff.
This position would suit a former Chef or Catering Manager who is looking for a wider role and an opportunity to drive the club forward.
The member-owned Club can provide in return, the following:
– Attractive annual salary in excess of £30,000 per year but depends on experience.
– A share of all profits taken from catering functions
Start early June after successful interview.
