Our client is looking for a person to join them to make appointments for their Field Sales People.
This is a telephone based role but for exsiting customers. Our client is well know in their field but having Telephone Sales experience would be a big advantage for this role.
Your main responsibilities will be:
•Proactively follow up campaigns that will lead to enhanced appointments.
•Identify opportunities that can be followed up in house by Account Managers rather than waiting for an appointment.
•Maintain a high level of customer service. Develop relationships with customers and provide a friendly, helpful service
•Work closely with the Marketing team and follow up on marketing initiatives. Undertake lead generation activities where required
•Use external Telephone Sales training, customer testimonials and customer experiences to achieve sales targets
•Attend and present at external customer meetings, demonstrating products and services whist tendering for business
•Attend trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, seek to maximise sales and raise our profile when required
•Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer activity using the CRM
•Maintain a high standard of product knowledge, competently answer customer queries about products and services
•Work closely with colleagues across all departments to create and develop revenue opportunities
•Liaise with Managers to discuss possible product improvements
•Keep abreast of changes in the sector, read news stories, blogs and reports and share information with your colleagues in the relevant departments
•Proactively suggest sensible changes and refinements to systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the department
•Occasionally answer inbound telephone calls and direct accordingly
•If required, answer and forward requests for website amendments to the appropriate department
This is a temporary to permanent role, Working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. With a pay rate of £8.46 per hour
